Some Safety Tips

You and your children need to be properly buckled up at all times. If you're traveling with children, know that all Avis cars can be equipped with Baby Car Seat! Children need to be seated in the back seat. For further assistance, an Avis representative will be happy to help!

Up to 1 year old and up to 10kg Rear-facing Baby Seat or convertible child restraint
Over 1 year old & 10 to 20 kg Forward-facing child restraint
Age 4 to 8 years & over 20 kg Belt-positioning booster seat (with lap and shoulder belt)
Age 8 & over Standard lap/shoulder belt (in the back seat)
Suggested Driving Safety Tips
Avoid distractions - Pull off the road while on the mobile phone.
- Pull over safely before defusing back-seat squabbles.
- Stay alert and don't slow down to look at accidents.
- Familiarize yourself with local speed limits & road rules.
- Keep your side and rear windows free of obstructions.
- Use headlights and wipers when driving in the rain.
Make a long trips comfortable for children - Schedule frequent breaks & to relieve cramped muscles.
- Stop for a lunch.
- Pack a portable potty for restroom emergencies.
- Bring a ball you can kick around in a safe area.
- Leave early so that you can travel at your own pace.
