Thai International Rent a Car Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company” ) respect your privacy and are strongly committed to keeping secure any information we obtain from you or about you. This Privacy Notice covers the personal information we collect, use and disclose through your use of our websites, products and services, either online or offline (collectively, “Services” ).
This Privacy Notice and our processing of your personal information will be subject to applicable data protection laws.

    - Entrepreneurs, shops, business partners, business partners, service providers, contractors of the company who are natural persons.

    - Information on service usage behavior, network usage and other information related to service provision.

    - Payment information, credit card number and debit card number

    - Security-related information

    - Information for service improvement and in case of customer usage issues, including necessary data for the company to comply with the law, as well as information for audits and operations in cases involving violations of terms of service or any illegal activity

  3. Legal basis

    The company is required to collect, use, and disclose the above information base on the legal basis, including for the performance of the contract or to be used to process the request of the owner of personal information before entering into that contract or to comply with legal obligations, or when necessary for legitimate interests. If you do not provide such information, the company may not be able to provide services or proceed with your request.

  4. Sources of personal information we collect

    4.1 Personal information you provide to the company directly
    - Personal information you provide to the company directly
    - Information obtained from your questionnaire, messages via email or other written and oral communication channels between the company and you.

    4.2 Personal information that the company collects from you automatically.
    - Information obtained from the use of the company's website using cookies (Cookies) and other similar technologies.
    - Information from CCTV when you enter the company's business premises which is installed with CCTV to record both images and animations.

    4.3 Personal information that the company receives from third parties.
    The company may receive your personal information from third parties from time to time, such as government agencies, affiliates, business partners, marketing through Online Travel Agency (OTA), your person from references, etc.

  5. Purpose of collection, use and disclosure

    - To provide services to which you are a contracting party.

    - To facilitate notification or follow up payment for service fees and related expense, such as sending a service notification, receipts and tax invoices.

    - To prove and verify the identity of the person who reserve and use the service.

    - For the development and improvement of efficient service.

    - To inquire, assess understanding, needs, and satisfaction regarding services.

    - To provide services as requested, support usage, provide information, respond and resolve complaints.

    - To analyze data for service improvement, marketing planning, and activities related to the company and partners that the company is a contracting party or has a legal relationship.

    - To inform and present benefits, information, news, promotions and offers regarding the use of services via email, message (SMS), phone, application, social media, etc.

    - To comply with the law and/or other necessary reasons that benefit the company in accordance with legal rights.

    - For any other purpose specified by law to collect, use and disclose without the consent of the owner of personal information.

    - To provide information and news to regulatory agencies and government agencies with legal authority.

    - To ensure security and prevent criminal activities at the company's premises and branches, such as installing surveillance cameras.

  6. Disclosure of personal data to other parties

    The company will not disclose your personal information to other individuals and juristic persons who are not companies in the group of companies (“other persons”) unless it is necessary to achieve the purpose of collecting and processing personal information as outlined in this Privacy Notice. The company may disclose your personal information to other people such as

    - Partners, business associates, service providers, service recipients and/or personal data processors assigned or hired that the company assigns or hires to manage, provide, or process personal data for the company in delivering various services, such as information technology services, data recording services, payment system services, auditing services, human resource management, or other services that may benefit you.

    - Consultants of the company, such as legal advisors, attorneys, auditors, or any other specialists.

    - Providers of financial and transaction services, such as banks or payment processing companies.

    - Government agencies with legal oversight responsibilities, or those who request the disclosure of personal data using legal authority, or related to legal processes, or permitted by applicable law, such as the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), the Ministry of Interior, the Department of Business Development, the Office of Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), the Office of Trade Competition Commission, the Royal Thai Police, the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), the Office of the Attorney General, courts, and the Department of Legal Execution.

  7. Period of retention of personal information

    The company will retain your personal data for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which the personal data was collected and processed. The retention period may vary depending on the purpose of processing the personal data and will be determined by the following factors:

    7.1 Legal Retention Period: The company will retain personal data for the duration required by applicable laws. Once the retention period expires, the company will delete or anonymize the personal data, making it no longer identifiable.

    7.2 Statutory Limitation Period for Legal Claims: The company will retain personal data in accordance with the limitation period for any legal claims that may arise from or be related to the personal data processed by the company. This period is determined by the contract or legal relationship between you and the company, unless required by law, regulatory requirements, internal company policies, or legal claims where regulatory authorities request the data. The personal data will be kept for a period that is reasonable and necessary for each type of personal data.

    As the owner of personal information, you have the following rights related to your personal information under the rules, methods and conditions under the law on the Personal Data Protection Act.

    8.1 Right of Access: You have the right to access your personal data and request a copy of it from the company, as prescribed by the Personal Data Protection Act.

    8.2 Right to Data Portability: You have the right to request your personal data in a commonly used, machine-readable format, and you may ask for it to be transferred to another data controller or directly to you, provided that it is technically feasible, as defined by the Personal Data Protection Act.

    8.3 Right to Object to Processing: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, as stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act.

    8.4 Right to Erasure: You may request that the company delete, destroy, or anonymize your personal data, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act.

    8.5 Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request the company to suspend the processing of your personal data, as stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Act.

    8.6 Right to Rectification: You have the right to request the correction of any inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or misleading personal data.

    8.7 Right to Withdraw Consent: If the company processes your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time regarding the processing of your personal data.

    8.8 Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe the company has violated any of your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to file a complaint with the relevant data protection regulatory authority, following the procedures defined by the Personal Data Protection Act.

    8.9 Right to Modify or Cancel Membership Data: You have the right to change or cancel your personal data in the membership information.

    The company will review requests to exercise the rights mentioned above. You may be required to provide relevant information and documents to the company in order for the company to process and evaluate your request. The company reserves the right to assess your request and take action in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act.

  9. Security of Personal Data

    The company has implemented appropriate systems for storing personal data and measures for technical and administrative security to prevent unauthorized use, disclosure, destruction, or access to your personal data. This is to ensure that the level of security for your personal data complies with the principles and methods outlined under the Personal Data Protection Act and other relevant laws.

    This privacy notice applies only to services provided by the company and the company's website. If you access other websites, even though links from the company’s website, you are required to read and follow the privacy policies of those websites separately from the company’s privacy policy.
